Basic Terrarium Making

A terrarium workshop is a creative and educational experience where participants learn to create their own miniature ecosystems in glass containers.

This workshop teaches the basics of layering soil, choosing plants, and designing a landscape within a contained environment.

Additionally, attendees gain knowledge on the care and maintenance of their terrariums, ensuring their miniature gardens thrive. It’s a hands-on activity that combines art, science, and horticulture, fostering a deeper appreciation for nature’s intricate beauty.

Tools will be provided and the participants can bring home their own miniature ecosystem.

About Roel Buyoro

I am a teacher in Biology by profession and have focused my interest in plants since 2016. I started to give cuttings and seeds to my college classmates, friends, and professors. My main goal is to spread awareness about the environment and good mental health.

In 2018, I discovered terrarium making and gave it a try after taking certain species of moss from San Narciso, Zambales, Philippines. I posted my work on Facebook and people told me to create more as they find it relaxing to look at and very inspirational.
